1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made directly from CustomsDaddy, including subscriptions and one-time credit packs for the HS Finder, Calculator, and Chat (the “Service”). By subscribing or purchasing, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. First-Purchase Guarantee (Subscriptions)
For your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge, provided the account has not had substantial usage.
- Substantial usage means any one of the following caps is exceeded (edit if needed):
- ≤ 50 HS suggestions generated,
- ≤ 200 calculator runs, or
- ≤ 60 minutes of AI chat activity.
- If the cap is exceeded, refunds are normally not available for the first cycle.
3. Renewals
- Renewal charges are non-refundable once processed.
- If you forgot to cancel, contact us within 48 hours of the renewal and we’ll review the request. Approval generally requires no substantial usage since renewal.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. One-Time Purchases & Credits
- Unused credit packs are refundable within 48 hours of purchase.
- Credits that have been consumed (fully or partially) are not refundable.
- Credits may expire as disclosed at purchase time.
5. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to billing@ledgerdaddy.com with:
- The email address on your CustomsDaddy account,
- Your invoice/transaction ID, and
- A brief explanation (e.g., “first purchase, minimal use”).
We’ll confirm eligibility and, if approved, issue the refund to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card network (typically 5–10 business days).
6. Cancellations (Stopping Future Charges)
- You may cancel from the app anytime (or by emailing support). Your plan remains active until the end of the paid term.
- Canceling prevents future renewals; it doesn’t automatically refund past charges unless eligible above.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
- Substantial usage during the refund window (see Section 2 caps).
- Enterprise/custom contracts (governed by their specific terms).
- Abuse, fraud, chargeback activity, or violation of our Terms.
- Taxes, currency conversion fees, or bank/processor fees we don’t control.
8. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank, your account may be paused during the investigation. Please contact billing@ledgerdaddy.com first—we can usually resolve issues faster.
9. Local Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable law (for example, consumer “cooling-off” or distance-selling rules where they apply to digital services). Where such rights conflict with an item above, the law prevails.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted (e.g., in-product notice or email), and the Last Updated date will change accordingly.
